The Survey Research Laboratory (SRL) at the University of Illinois is closed, effective July 1, 2019, and no longer in service. The University of Illinois System is grateful to the faculty and staff of the Survey Research Lab for their intense dedication and service to the field of survey research and their immeasurable contributions to our university and the state.

The Survey Research Laboratory (SRL) of the University of Illinois at Chicago was a research and service unit established in 1964. It was a division of the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs that provided survey research services to the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Illinois at Chicago and Urbana-Champaign; other academic institutions; local, state, and federal agencies; and others working in the public interest.
