Phone Interviewer
As a phone interviewer for the Survey Research Laboratory, you will contact respondents by phone to collect information about their individual opinions on specific topics.
Most phone interviewers are required to work nights and weekends, with daytime shifts occasionally available. Phone interviewers should have a clear speaking voice, keyboarding experience, and the ability to use persuasion techniques for gaining respondent cooperation.
This is a part-time hourly position.
Face-to-Face Interviewer
As a face-to-face interviewer for the Survey Research Laboratory, you will contact respondents either at a pre-determined site or at their home. Face-to-face interviewers collect information about individual respondent's opinions on specific topics.
Applicants must have a flexible schedule, a working car, and proof of auto insurance. Face-to-face interviewers are reimbursed for their project-related travel and mileage costs.
This is a part-time hourly position.
Phone Supervisor
As a phone supervisor for the Survey Research Laboratory, you will oversee the work of telephone interviewers under the direction for a Field Coordinator. Previous research data collection experience is required. The phone supervisor is responsible for administrative tasks (e.g., checking interviewer time sheets and scheduling), technical tasks (e.g., bringing up the computer-assisted software for interviewing), and using monitoring software to monitor interviewers for quality assurance.
Phone supervisors will need to have a flexible schedule and are required to work at night and cover at least one weekend shift.
