The Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, part of the Illinois Department of Human Services, is the lead agency for all substance abuse issues for the State of Illinois. As such, DASA is responsible for coordinating the efforts of all state programs dealing with problems created by substance abuse. DASA's mission is founded upon the belief that human suffering and social and economic loss caused by the illness of alcoholism, addiction to controlled substances and the abuse and misuse of alcohol and other drugs are matters of grave concern to the people of the state of Illinois.

The reports below summarize the results of studies sponsored and funded by DASA to better understand the needs of the citizens of Illinois. All are available as Adobe PDF documents; newer reports are listed first.
